Project background

On the south bank of Oujiang River, Wenzhou, known as "the best landscape in the southeast", has become one of the important economies in the Yangtze River Delta region in recent years. Wenzhou Vanke Center is located at the core of Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, close to the central green axis. Under this unique geographical advantage, it flourishes and promotes the regional economic at a higher level.

Design idea

Different from the simple stacking of boxes, the whole project is composed of multiple blocks with increasing height. The core feature lies in the use of large-area aluminum alloy decorative lines and the interaction of various materials, showing rich and tidy facade effect. In terms of the realization of architectural functions, we should focus on improving the interaction between buildings and the external environment and creating a harmonious field relationship.

Detail disassembly

The whole building is made of a number of different blocks interspersed with each other, and the main materials are glass, aluminum plate, and ceramic pane. In terms of modeling design, through the staggered use of aluminum plate and glass, the interaction with the interior of the building is optimized, the vertical feeling of the overall facade is increased, the multiple facade expressions are created, and the different functional requirements of the project are also met.

The main part of the project should be the combination of large-area glass and aluminum plate lines. To ensure the integrity of the glass surface, the opening sash is arranged at the aluminum plate, and the concealed design of the opening sash further ensures the overall presentation of the facade. In addition, as the main daily display area of the project, it is particularly important to build the commercial street interface. According to the scheme, the design of the standard section lays a solid foundation for the project quality.

On the other hand, inspired by the scheme, the decorative grille design is optimized in the design process. Since the decorative grilles have different lengths and do not have transverse series members, the desired effect of the scheme can be realized simply and quickly only by setting cables and effectively connecting the aluminum alloy decorative grilles with the grilles. For this purpose, the project team consulted professional cable manufacturers and required them to cooperate with us to complete the cable design. Subsequently, the problem of connecting grille and cable was solved by opening the mold of profile, bolting and fastening screws, and it was finally landed. The profile frame and grille louver with great details continuously raised the overall refinement.

In addition, in terms of the building of the bottom commercial facade, the combination of aluminum plate, ceramic plate and glass is the core theme. For the treatment of aluminum plates, the vertical performance of the overall facade is followed, and the silver-white aluminum plates are folded into shapes with different widths and orderly concavity and convex, which are evenly arranged, showing the modern and simple style.

The beige ceramic plate has a certain texture, which enriches the layering of the whole large area. The vertical arrangement more effectively solves the problem of external exhaust of air conditioner and ensures the pure performance of the whole facade. In addition, the printed glass is reorganized and arranged on the whole facade, and jumps and interspersed with orange vertical bars, showing a dynamic facade effect with a sense of rhythm.

The facade of the main commercial entrance is built. To realize the unique commercial display surface, the project is different from other monochrome transparent glass facade, and adopts white vertical printing for spacing, creating a looming visual effect, which is more eye-catching. The frame should be the combination design of mirror stainless steel and lamp strips. Linear combinations of different lengths converge into a "Waterfall", which shines under the sunlight during the day and turns into starry sky at night. The light strips fall like meteors, which is very elegant.
