The project base is located in the core area of Zhenru Section, Putuo District, Shanghai, which is an important component of Zhenru City Sub-center. The south side of the base is adjacent to Jiaotong Road and Shanghai West Railway Station, and the north side is Wanli Community.

Shanghai West Railway Station has a long history. In 1905, with the construction of Shanghai-Nanjing Railway, a station was initially set up there. In 1907 (the thirty-third year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty), the Shanghai-Nanjing Railway was officially opened when it was opened to traffic. The station was originally named Zhenru Station, which was only a two-lane station on the Shanghai-Nanjing Line at that time. In 1946, the station was renamed Zhenru Station. After 1957, Zhenru Station successively built Taipingqiao Freight Yard and Shiquan Road Freight Yard, and together with Shanghai East Railway Station, it became the main freight station of Shanghai Railway Hub.
