The North of Nanjing MixC is the third chess piece of China Resources MixC's lifestyle layout in Nanjing, and it is also a masterpiece of deep cultivation in this city - serving as a new landmark in the northern part of the city. This is an important area for the development of the city along the Yangtze River and a model for the protection of the Yangtze River. It is located in the Binjiang New City in the north of the main city of Nanjing and the modern service industry center in the north.

The 210,000 square meter North of Nanjing MixC consists of two shopping centers, East and West. The West Shopping Center (Hall A) is positioned as a highland for quality living, while the East Shopping Center (Hall B) is positioned as a fashionable and trendy experience. Planning 3 main stores, 5 core business formats, and 6 themed spaces, it will be a one-stop consumption destination for leisure, shopping, sports, socializing, strolling, and dining in Nanjing.
The architectural facade continues the simple and elegant facade style of the MixC series complex, and integrates local cultural elements of Nanjing to shape a new landmark image of Yanziji New City.To meet the needs of all business formats,FORCITIS has created a diversified curtain wall system based on the exterior characteristics of its commercial complex. This project includes multiple types of glass curtain wall systems,as well as ceramic panel curtain wall systems, aluminum panel curtain wall systems, awning systems, glass skylight systems, metal ceiling systems, etc. The following is an introduction to curtain wall systems with different orientations and their structural design content(examples)and highlights.
Steel plate ribbed point glass curtain wall
The curtain wall is located at the northwest corner of 32A, and on the inside is an ice rink venue with a real ice surface of 1456 square meters. It is also the largest and only sports and commercial ice rink in Nanjing.
The external curtain wall adopts steel plate ribbed point fixture glass curtain wall, with a vertical spacing of 1.8 meters and a span of 12 meters.

▲ Indoor perspective
The Lasso curtain wall brings an extremely transparent view to the ice rink, creating an immersive ice rink atmosphere, improving the viewing experience of the indoor ice rink and the public's gaming experience.
Showcase curtain wall system
The showcase system of this project is mainly distributed at the main entrance and above the store, with a span of 15m at the main entrance.

The display window curtain wall adopts a double row keel setting, and the glass adopts a single laminated glass to ensure both safety and transparency.
In addition, a gap of 600 is reserved between the glass and the backing molding plate, creating a light box effect while meeting the needs of internal lighting maintenance.

Daylighting roof curtain wall system
The lighting ceiling of this project adopts various styles, such as rectangles, triangles, or irregular geometric shapes, to match the venue's movement line, enhance the transparency of the atrium, and give people a sense of grandeur and spaciousness.

The ceramic panel curtain wall system is located on the third and fourth floors of the main facades of Hall A and B. The facades adopt a vertical 5mm and horizontal 10mm open system, with locally added 50mm wide aluminum alloy grooves and a backing of 1.5mm thick galvanized steel plate;
▲ Realistic view
The surface material is 35mm thick grooved ceramic plate, with a standard plate size of 1200x500mm. The vertical keel is made of 120X60X5mm hot-dip galvanized steel square tube, and the horizontal keel is made of 50X50X4mm hot-dip galvanized steel square tube, connected by aluminum alloy hangers; The surface of the panel is coated with self-cleaning paint, and the keel is hot-dip galvanized.
The ceramic panel facade adopts a modular arrangement:

Highlight 2: Bridge Connection System
Dalian Bridge utilizes a tower unit system for modular installation, assisting in speed increase, and facilitating rapid construction without road closures

Highlight 3: Exploration of new materials, improving quality and efficiency
Attempting new materials for the facade; Soft porcelain replaces stone on the low area wall of the sunken square, meeting the effect while achieving cost savings

Highlight 4: Modular aluminum plate unit
The aluminum plate unit adopts a modular design, and the standard modules are pre processed into a whole in the factory and installed on site to ensure installation accuracy and on-site construction efficiency

Highlight 5: Honeycomb aluminum panel
The overhanging distance of the roof garden canopy is large. In order to ensure the integrity and flatness of the bottom, honeycomb aluminum panels were selected in the material, and the panel joints were designed with plug-in joints
