Project background
The phase II project of Ideal Automobile Industrial Park is located in the airport section of Shunyi Park in Zhongguancun. With a total investment of about RMB 1.3 billion, a total area of 58,600㎡ and an estimated production capacity of 250,000 vehicles/year, the project is expected to be put into use by the end of 2023. After completion, it will become another industrial park integrating office and scientific research and development at the ideal automobile headquarters. After the completion of the project, it will strengthen the agglomeration effect of ideal vehicles in R&D and design, core basic components, automatic driving, artificial intelligence, big data and other industrial fields, promote the cooperation between upstream and downstream supporting enterprises in the industrial chain, and help the integration and efficient development of the new energy smart car industrial chain in Shunyi District.

Design idea
The project is a trial-production workshop and supporting room for the production of range extenders for new energy vehicles. Efficient and concise facade elements are applied to the building. Glass facade is used as the building facade, and aluminum veneer facade are used partially, thus creating a modern, unitized and industrialized modern new energy automobile industry atmosphere, maintaining coordination and echo with the ideal automobile headquarters (current situations) on the south side, forming a continuous and unified urban interface, friendly and humble urban space, and creating a good industrial park style atmosphere.

Facade design
The glass facade system on the standard floor should be bright in vertical direction and hiding in horizontal direction
The column span of the glass facade for standard floor that is bright in vertical direction and hiding in horizontal direction is 4500mm, and the maximum glass plate is 1450mmX1700mm (2.4㎡); For glass with large surface, 6Low-E+12Ar + 6Low-E+12Ar +6 double-glazed & tempered glass is used, and 6Low-E+12Ar + 6Low-E+12Ar +6 +1.14 Pvb+6 double-glazed, tempered & laminated glass is used for 1050mm division on the ground; the upright column should be the double-span design, aluminum alloy upright column, and the form of opening is external suspended sash window.

Due to the large glass plate of the project, the weight of grounding glass is up to 630kg. After a series of evaluation and analysis, it is suggested that aluminum alloy beam should not be provided at the bottom, and the glass should be directly put into the groove, and the concrete structure should bear the gravity of glass. The facade system of the first floor and the standard floor forms a simple facade with agility and internal order.

The largest glass plate in the glass facade part is 6.9㎡, and the weight of a single piece of glass is about 690kg; As the thermal requirement K value of the project is 1.5W/(㎡K), the glass needs to be in the form of three glasses and two cavities, and as the glass plate exceeds 6m2, it is recommended to adopt 12Low-e + 12Ar + 12Low-e + 12Ar +12 double-glazed & tempered ultra clear glass (thermal insulation warm warm edgings).

Canopy system
The canopy is vertically divided into 2900mm joints with the glass facade, with a root thickness of 500mm, a front end thickness of 200mm and a cantilever of 3350mm (out of the glass surface). The plate is made of aluminum veneer with a thickness of 3mm, the surface is sprayed with fluorocarbon, the glue joint width is 12mm, and the drainage method is scattered; The preliminary scheme of transverse division width of canopy is 700mm. The canopy is exquisitely designed, which greatly helps the overall beauty and proper shadow effect of the building.

Under the big goal of "Peak Carbon Dioxide Emissions and Carbon Neutrality", we will strengthen the green and low carbon in R&D and manufacturing, further enlarge the emission reduction capacity of the new energy automobile industry, help the integration and efficient development of new energy smart automobile industry chain in Beijing, and make greater contributions to the national goal of "Peak Carbon Dioxide Emissions and Carbon Neutrality".
