From August 3rd to 5th, 2023, the simultaneous event of FBC Expo : ' FBC Curtain Wall Enjoyment Week - Curtain Wall Technology and New Product Theme Exhibition Area ' was successfully held in the curtain salon area of Pavilion 1.2 of Shanghai Hongqiao National Convention and Exhibition Center. In the ' curtain building special exhibition area ' at the FBC exhibition site, the organic integration of 50 + industry innovative materials and new technologies was displayed. 10 + curtain wall trend salon and case sharing exchange showed the beauty of curtain wall architecture and structure.

At the same time, in order to improve the digital ability of the curtain wall industry and see the digital solutions brought by the enterprises at the forefront of the industry, the guests on the same site analyzed the application of digitization in their respective work areas from the perspectives of construction, design and construction integration and consultants based on several difficult curtain wall project cases. The ultimate goal is the same - to ensure the zero error landing of the project.

In this salon activity, Hu Gong mainly elaborated his understanding of digital design from three aspects : visual deduction, shape analysis and optimization, and comprehensive functional analysis.

01 Through visual deduction, we can :

③ Pre-simulation construction, installation process, optimize the design details .

With the popularization of BIM concept, most curtain wall consultants and construction units have set up BIM divisions or BIM engineers. However, from the current practical application, the implantation of information models is very limited. In fact, more work strictly belongs to the category of digital design.

Through the opportunity of FBC exhibition, Mr. Hu Yaqing shared with you from the perspective of curtain wall consultants what we are doing and the direction of future expansion. He hopes to further enhance the value of curtain wall consultants in the wave of digital design.
